Dr. Z.R. Khan is a distinguished dentist with over 25 years of experience in offering Comprehensive Dental Care to his patients.
After completing his house job, Dr. Z.R. Khan gained valuable clinical experience in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Glasgow Dental Hospital and Bedford Hospital NHS Trust in the United Kingdom. Shortly afterwards he qualified for his Membership, MFDS (Member of Faculty of Dental Surgery), of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow. Dr. Z.R. Khan also completed his training for a Fellowship in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Abbasi Shaheed Hospital in Karachi.
Dr. Z.R. Khan is an accomplished Oral Surgeon, proficient in a wide range of procedures from routine extractions and restorative and periodontal procedures to complex pre-prosthetic surgeries like ridge augmentation and sinus lifts for implant placement.
His extensive clinical skills also include the Management of Medically Compromised Patients who require Special Care and the Management of Oral Diseases.
Throughout his career, Dr. Z.R. Khan has held significant roles as an Oral Surgery and Oral Medicine specialist at prominent hospitals, clinics and dental colleges in Karachi.

With a profound passion for education, Dr. Khan is a highly-regarded educator with over 15 years of experience teaching Oral Medicine. He is a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy in the United Kingdom, reflecting his commitment to excellence in teaching. He is currently serving as an Associate Professor and Head of Department of Oral Medicine at Baqai Medical University.
His dedication for teaching surpasses his role at the University. Dr. Khan has created freely accessible online tutorials for both practicing and new graduates.
Dr. Khan is an Examiner and International Advisor for the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow (RCPSG), highlighting his standing in the global dental community. He also serves as a Member of the Board of Studies for Oral Medicine at Dow University of Health Sciences and Baqai Medical University.

Dr. Khan has served the scientific community by contributing to the Cochrane Collaboration and been a Cochrane Member since 2022.
